The shackles of expectation

Life is considerably richer when lived in the presence of others, and yet when that presence becomes overwhelming, a person can easily succumb to crushing restrictions based entirely on imagined consequences and reactions.

The truly charismatic and free among people are those who are aware of the possible concequences of an action, and yet are brave enough to be themselves and do as they please regardless. These individuals are not paralyzed by fear because they know the truth; that the fear of concequences is rarely smaller than the true concequences themselves. To live without enslaving oneself to the fear of reaction is to live unbound and freely, a state which is innately desired by all possessing imagination.
